Authority of the Scripture

Psalm 119:105 - "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."2 Timothy 3:16-17 - "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

  • We understand that we are called to serve people in every way we can.

We Love God

Matthew 22:37 - "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."

  • We love God and commit first to inviting the presence of God into our daily lives.
  • We recognize effective leadership only comes from an overflow of a vibrant relationship with Jesus.
  • We pursue God by spending time with Him daily through prayer, worship, and reading His Word.
  • We live and model a lifestyle of pursuing God both corporately and individually.

We Love People

John 15:12-13 - "This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

Proverbs 22:29 - "Do you see people skilled in their work? They will work for kings, not for ordinary people."

  • We strive to work as unto the Lord with the highest degree of professionalism, productivity, and skill in all that we do.
  • We look for opportunities to make things better and support those we serve alongside.
  • We desire continual growth through personal study and seeking the wisdom and experience of others.

We Are Generous

Acts 20:35 - "Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

  • We willingly share our time and talents for the good of the ministry and of others.
  • We strive to maintain a spirit of unity and selflessness in relationship with others.
  • We are committed to giving from our substance for the work of ministry, and those in need within our community.

We Choose Joy

Nehemiah 8:10 - "For the joy of the Lord is your strength."

  • We have positive attitudes while performing assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • We encourage having fun and impacting every environment with energy and joy.
  • We are committed to our work because God has chosen us, we love our church, and we're honored that we get to serve as unto the Lord.
  • We respond to challenging situations with life and encouragement.

We Seek to Know God

Habakkuk 2:14 - "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea."

  • We authentically engage in worshiping God and serving one another.
  • We pursue God as a collective community in our participation at weekly church services and other events.
  • We look for opportunities to meet new people and invite people to church.
  • We leverage our sphere of influence to show our excitement for God and the church in every area of our lives.

Discover Purpose

Romans 12:5 - "So in Christ we who are many form one body and each member belongs to all the others."

  • We love, encourage, and coach people as we do the work of ministry, with each person taking responsibility for his or her words and actions.
  • We help people have a positive firsthand encounter with Realms of Glory culture.
  • We seek potential leaders to develop and help them connect to areas within the ministry where they can serve and grow.
  • We help people connect their gifts to their purpose by inviting them to participate in discipleship and training opportunities.

Make a Difference

Hebrews 13:7 - "Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith."

  • As the Dream Team, we strive to make a difference - there's no better opportunity to be a part of the life of the church than by serving.
  • We are intentional about passing on our knowledge, skills, and opportunities to others.
  • We encourage others who are part of the Dream Team by consistently reaching out, spending time with, and affirming them.
